Hi, I’m Brittney — Chef, Holistic Nutrition Consultant, and Plant-Powered Food Enthusiast

My journey hasn’t been a straight line—from professional kitchens to nutrition consulting—but every step has shaped how I bring food and wellness to life. Cooking and nutrition have been lifelong passions, and over the years I’ve seen how powerful food can be—from easing my own allergies to helping my dad reverse pre-diabetes. That deep belief in the healing impact of food drives everything I do as a Professional Chef and Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant.

After years of cooking in people’s homes and developing recipes for a wide range of clients, I realized my true mission: helping women in midlife feel empowered and nourished through thoughtful, personalized nutrition.

As Head Chef at a Seattle-based personal chef company, I lead a team of chefs, developed customized menus, and helped launch an organic meal delivery service. Alongside, I’ve shared the joy of plant-forward cooking through The Traveling Spoon, teaching classes that blend culture, nutrition, and flavor.


Today, I bring it all together—culinary expertise, nutrition science, and my background in design thinking, honed during my years at Google—through Britt Loves Plants. My focus is helping women navigate perimenopause and beyond with strategies that are practical, delicious, and rooted in real life. For me, BLP is where all my passions converge: nutrition, cooking, teaching, and creativity—woven into one purpose of helping women thrive.

When I’m not in the kitchen or supporting clients, you’ll find me open-water swimming, experimenting with plant-based recipes, or planning my next wellness adventure. My goal is to make healthy living approachable, joyful, and personalized—because you deserve a nutrition plan that fits you, not the other way around.
